GAY & SOBER CELEBRATES BLACK HISTORY MONTH.

WE ARE OF MANY CULTURES, MANY LANGUAGES, WE ARE THE VERY DEFINITION OF DIVERSITY.

SOME OF US WERE BORN HERE. OTHERS MIGRATE FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD.

BUT ALL OF US SHARE A HISTORY OF TRIUMPH, OF SELF-DETERMINATION, OF A LONG FOUGHT STRUGGLE FOR RESPECT, DIGNITY, AND EQUALITY.

JOURNEY WITH GAY & SOBER THIS FEBRUARY AS WE ELEVATE AND APPRECIATE BLACK HERITAGE WITH STORIES THAT CELEBRATE, EDUCATE AND SHARE THE BLACK EXPERIENCE.

ACTIONS WE ARE PROUD OF:

 

- At the most recent conference, we hosted a Racial and Ethnic Diversity panel discussion workshop.

 

- At the next conference in June, all three of our main speakers at the nightly big meetings are people of color. 

 

- For the past three years, our marketing efforts have promoted diversity by using more imagery and models that represent diverse cultural backgrounds. 

 

- When bringing on volunteers and committee members, we eagerly seek out people of color to welcome to our service family.
